T 1 (June II showers)

Normandy on the morning of June 6:

Situation after the landing and the first German reactions:

On the American side, the losses were rather severe but the progression is important

The British have made a superb landing

T2 (June III showers)

The Americans entered the Cotentin and besieged Cherbourg.

T3 (June IV Cloud)

Cherbourg fell.

a series of uninterrupted activations allowed the allies to advance strongly towards St Lo and to cross the Odon river north of Caen


T4 (July I Showers)

The special troops are withdrawn from the front. The allied advance marks the step in front of the resistance which manages to recover


T 5 (July II Sun )

the intervention of heavy bombers cleans the German lines and the British encircle Caen and 2 panzer divisions !


T6 (July III Showers)

English breakthrough in the plain. The Americans advance but the bocage slows them down strongly.

( error : from turn 6 , the effects of the bocage are reduced !!! )




T7 (July IV Storm)

The English continue on their encirclement maneuver but the German reaction is violent and they break the encirclement by destroying the defenders


T8 ( August I Sun )

The attacks under the radiant sun almost all turned into fiascoes for the Americans who continued to be unable to break through. The British were on the other hand on open ground, but lacked manpower.

T9 (August II Showers )

Still a weak advance of the Americans, but especially the British are counter-attacked by the Panzer which destroy the advanced units and block the access to the East

T10 (August III Rain )

The weather and the sequence of chits is very favorable to the Germans in this round.

The Americans failed again in the bocage.

On order, PAnzers divisions are evacuated from the front towards East, leaving only a weak defensive curtain.

British situation : The Germans held the accesses to the East and took the opportunity to evacuate their forces.

American situation: Brittany is still far from being reached.
