Turn 1

The Panzers counterattacked but the British held the ground.
Turn 4
During the last 2 days, the HG attacked the rangers between Salerno and Amalfi, inflicting heavy losses, but the English counterattacked from the city and pushed them back.
Then another attack against the same British was stopped and repulsed.
The German troops are overwhelmed ...
Taking advantage of a rare aerial domination over the beaches, the HG insists against the rangers and dislodges them from Maiori!
Beginning of Turn 9
Eboli and Battipaglia still held, defended by paratroopers and the 29th PzGdr and the constant counter attacks of the 16 Pz.
The lack of artillery ammunition was cruelly felt by the Allies who could only advance thanks to their guns.
The Allies have only 6 objectives in hand.
Turn 11
The 8th Army arrived, the 7th Armoured landed
The track of Montecorvino is still under the fire of the German artillery, preventing the Allied hunting to intervene effectively
Turn 13 (21 Septembre )
With a heavy heart, Kesselring abandons his dearly defended positions. The arrival of the 8th Army and the announced departure of the panzers of the 16th Pz forces him to do so.
These are 3 key positions which will fall without more fight in the escarcelle of the allies
Turn 15 ( 23 Septembre )
The Germans lost the 16th Pz and the 8th Army is now fully operational.
The Allies had 4 axes of progression in front of them, channeled by the terrain
In the north, the British had to get out of Salerno to rush towards Naples.
The Americans and the 8th Army had to cross the passes and roll over the defenders.
Turn 16 ( 24 Septembre )
This time, with the support of battleships, guns and aviation, the British manage to break through and the rats of the desert rush on the road to Naples!
but the game is not won ....
Turn 20 (28 Septembre)
The area of the 8th army has been abandoned.
The rain starts to fall again, reducing considerably the offensive capacities of the allies !
The results are insufficient (11 points of victory), the campaign is lost for the allies.
