October 43 :

Allies took the opportunity of good weather in September to land in Normandy .

Wermacht is ready to stop their advance , but air superiority combined with arriving bad weather prevent them to push the invaders back in the sea.

East Front : Caucasus and Don were reconquered by USSR. German armies are in very good shape for winter season.

January 44 :

Good Weather on med front ==> British invasion in Marseille.

March 44 :

Bombing campaign on Germany has reduced industrial power of Axis to a very low level .

June 44 : for the second consecutive month , weather is sunny all other europe. It means that summer will last 5 full months this year . German generals are becoming very scary .

Russian armies launch a powefull offensive against Ukrainia and pin usefull German troops in the North

July 44 : Kharkov is retaken . German lose large amounts of tropps in the North and are forced to retreat under heavy pressure .

Lack of industrial supplies pin Luftwaffe on the ground.

Allied armies are entering Belgium.

August 44 :

Rhine is crossed by a succesfull push in Netherlands . Bridges were not so far , after all.

Army Group south have ceased to exist and there is nearly nothing left to stop Russian tanks

End of September 44 :

After 5 months of summer campaign , Germany is defeated : Allies at the gates of Berlin , Ruhr zone lost , Warsaw liberated and a will to fight as low as 9 .

This 5 months long 44 Summer was way too long. Combined with an industrial collapse, Germany couldn't resist.

42 summer which lasted only 3 months probably saved USSR that survived with a will to fight at 8 .

In 43 , the successful Allied landing in FRance gave them the opportunity of a quick and effective ground campaign in France during 44 with all the strenght of thier army, as there was no Med Front to divert troops.

And the bombing session that put German Industry on its knees during spring 44 achieved the victory .
