June 44 : At start situation
August 44 :
USSR troops have liberated Ukrainia and Bielorussia . Warsaw is under direct threat
Normandy D DAY was a success but German troops are gathering to prevent a too fast Allied exploitation
October 44 :
Wermacht has stopped Russian at the gates of Warsaw but , army group Noth is suffering an onslaught , while Hungary surrenders and Rumania is invaded .
Not so fast conquest of France, mainly due to poor weather and successfull defenses .
June 1945 :
In the West, Meuse / Rhine defensive line is strongly held by German units. Rough terrain and rivers are severly slowing down Allied units.
Poland is almost entirely liberated . And nearly all the last Panzer units are trapped. Berlin is under direct pressure .
German still have a small hope to resist untill August thanks to their level of will to fight ...
July 45 , end of the campaign :
The final USSR effort against North Germany proved fatal and Allies win the campaign.
German resistance was strong , but USSR was too strong to resist.
